Not long ago an image of Jared Leto appreciating a green Gucci coat from the runway and then wearing it at a Suicide Squad red carpet surfaced the web.
The photo became viral for obvious reasons, have a look for yourself below:
The actor seemed to have fallen in love at first sight with the Gucci coat, and that’s actually how things went. He wore the same coat, in a similar outfit, on a Suicide Squad red carpet event, making everyone on the internet go crazy.
But he is not the only celebrity to have fallen in love with runway looks. Many before (and after) him, in fact, have decided to give their twist to catwalk outfits, making them look very different from how they looked on models.
The latest celebrity to do so has been Rihanna, who was spotted wearing the exact same outfit from Paris Fashion Week’s Virgil Abloh show.
Here is how the singer looked in her Virgil Abloh look.
Street style fashion is a must for the top model Gigi Hadid as well, who was in Paris in a full outfit by Jonathan Simkhai.
Not only celebrities “steal” catwalk looks to attend casual events and for their fashionable street style, but also for red carpets and events.
Here we see the gorgeous Cate Blanchett with a Gucci dress at the IWC Gala Dinner.
Tracee Ellis Ross has rocked a Chanel Couture sparkly dress straight from the runway on the Emmys red carpet.
Below we see the beautiful Laura Dern in a Proenza Schouler dress, which she adapted to her taste by filling in some of the cutouts.
But there is also many other celebrities, like Ariana Grande, who decide to wear catwalk outfits on stage.
Here she is wearing a yellow coat from Versus Versace collection at the I Heart Music Festival in Las Vegas.
Or Katy Perry performing at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles “Once Upon a Time” Gala in a dress from Marchesa Spring ’17 collection.
But there is also space for siblinghood when it comes to taking inspiration from catwalk looks. Poppy Delevingne went on and wore the same Chanel jacket her sister, Cara, rocked on the catwalk.
They both looked pretty good, right?
From the celebrities who steal the whole catwalk looks, to those who only decide to rock one garment, we couldn’t love them more for giving us catwalk feels even when it’s not fashion week!
